Bristol Refugee Week

Refugee Week 2011 - A truly inter-cultural event in June 2011

Since June 2001 many local communities in Bristol have been having fun, celebrating and learning from each other by participating in the activities organised during Bristol Refugee Week. Again this year Bristol Refugee Week Network events will be happening beyond the official National Refugee Week dates, starting on Friday 17th June at the ever active Pierian Centre, 27 Portland Square, BS2 8SA.

There's free live music and workshops from around the world for everyone in Queen Square on June 19th with Tribe of Doris and many more things to get involved in all week, including the launch of Bristol as a City of Sanctuary on Wednesday 22nd and more free music at St Georges Brandon Hill on Sunday 26th.

Please keep coming back to the site as it will be regularly updated bringing you news of more events. Click on 'Refugee Week Events' link on the left to see what's coming and download the flyer below for full details of Sunday 19th June event in Queen Square.

Bristol Refugee Week Network is co-ordinated by Bristol City Council - Health & Social Care Directorate.
